Back in 2020 when we first launched the Pilot series, we are proud to say that our design concepts have successfully reached the end users, reflected on the soaring number of bag sales and high praises from prestigious review platforms. DPReview editor Chris has given us very positive feedback when the Pilot 10L is chosen as Gear of the Year 2021 , and to this day you can still see Chris wearing the Pilot 10L when conducting camera gear reviews

To integrate the various feedbacks from customers with different backgrounds over the years, the New Pilot backpack is designed to include “speed” in the “easy to use” core value. So how would we achieve this new standard?

Patented German Fidlock Magnetic Buckle, For One-Hand Operation

The New Pilot backpack uses Fidlock magnetic buckle, which opens via a simple nudge with your fingers, and automatically snaps shut as the buckle parts are close to one another

The Fidlock quick release buckle can only be opened from the perspective of the wearer, which can be puzzling for thieves to get into the bag

With the left and right side flap openings, the New Pilot backpack can be accessed via three different openings, allowing fast access to anything and everything inside

Awesome Capacity and Organization

We have integrated the exterior module from the previous generation into the main bag in this latest upgrade, the front-expanding design of the large front pocket will keep the backpack’s shape streamlined even when stuffed with a jacket inside, and has room for fitting interior modules

The interior space of the backpack is now divided into top and bottom halves, using the detachable camera insert as a divider, giving you more flexibility in organizing your items, from laptop + essentials of your daily commute, overnight clothing + camera gear for light travels, or professional heavy duty loading of up to 2 cameras + 5 lenses + tripod

Interior of the new Pilot backpack is now segmented with the top loading camera pouch, total capacity of 18L, fits up to 2 cameras + 5 lenses

The camera pouch uses velcro tabs for securing, fits overnight travel essentials and camera equipment of 1 camera + 3 lenses. If you need to carry more camera gear, the top compartment fits an additional 1 camera + 2 lenses
